The Maintenance Trainee will work with minimal supervision to troubleshoot and repair line calls on our shingle manufacturing line. He/she will be familiar with all types of mechanical and electrical systems and will work with others to minimize downtime while always conducting themselves in a safe, professional manner. This individual will participate in training classes as assigned to improve their job knowledge. This individual will be responsible for completing 100% of all assigned PM tasks and entering all work order data into the SAP database. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor that are required for the success of the operation.

Must be willing to be trained in all aspects of maintenance Must be capable of basic and minor equipment repair and willing to learn fabrication, welding, and millwork Responsible (with department supervisor) for ensuring that any procedures, and/or practices within the department, are being followed Assist with any maintenance reporting or department paperwork as necessary Must be willing and able to perform other job functions as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned
