**The Opportunity**
This is a key Operations / Engineering Excellence Leadership role that is key to driving Continuous Improvement in the Technical areas of Libre Manufacturing onsite in Austin, TX . The role will involve coaching, developing, and embedding a root cause analysis culture to investigate machine issues, quality issues and drive improvements across the automated processes. Additionally, the role will support development of assessing training needs for teams across multiple sites, building processes to identify bad actors in the asset footprint and develop process to use data to improve asset performance. As the sites develop digital capability this role will be key in embedding data driven decisions to drive asset improvement and reporting.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Provide leadership in Root Cause Analysis, Operational and Engineering Excellence to support sites in driving Continuous Improvement culture.
+ Develop method to identify technical expertise of group to gap assess and build training plans so leaders, engineers, technicians can effectively support manufacturing operations.
+ Develop a Continuous Improvement culture through implementing RCA [Root Cause Analysis] approach to Critical equipment and processes and bottleneck processes and bad actors to understand root cause, implement corrective actions to improve and improve reliability.
+ Develop RCM [Reliability Centred Maintenance] approach for critical stations to ensure effective maintenance is in place and Potential Failure modes and Product Risks are identified and mitigated. Develop work instructions are in place for storage, replacement, and repair of critical subcomponent spares.
+ Support rollout of condition based monitoring and develop processes for the teams to use the data for investigation and driving data driven decisions to improve asset performance and OEE.
+ Coach TPM and ADC Engineering Teams on development of using machine data to drive OEE and identify improvement projects through data driven processes.
+ Continuously strive to improve quality of processes and products.
+ Ensure timely response to product issues and nonconformances.
+ Support all aspects of Quality systems including timely resolution of Quality Investigations, development and implementation of CAPA to agreed timelines.
+ Develop and maintain clear responsibilities to ensure customer needs of Operations are met.
+ Drive cross manufacturing site efficiency improvements, cost reduction initiatives and technological advances to move the business forward.
+ Continuously challenge existing processes and systems.
+ Communicate vision, company goals and objectives to direct reports
+ Report monthly on the performance of Engineering Investigations, improvements, and risks.
+ Effectively manages the expense and Capex budgets and develop data driven capital spend recommendations to drive asset improvement.
+ Other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
+ B.S. in Engineering, Science or related discipline, or a recognized Engineering apprenticeship in either a mechanical or electrical discipline or equivalent with experience of delivering significant CIP through engineering improvements. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
+ Significant experience of driving continuous improvement within a range of manufacturing environments is required.
+ Significant experience of leading change, implementing processes to support structured root cause analysis, data driven improvement and improvement project delivery.
+ Experience in successfully leading teams in a high pressure environment.
+ Delivering significant CIP through identifying and implementing engineering improvements

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
