Applicant must be able and willing to travel within a 30 mile radius of base. Travel time and mileage is reimbursed.

Maintenance personnel will be responsible for carrying out work orders distributed by the Maintenance Director in order to keep all of our facilities in good repair. Maintenance work must be of good quality and performed in a timely manner. Duties may include but are not limited to handy man repairs, and other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director. Any HVAC or electrical experience is beneficial. Plumbing experience is required.

Overtime work is available but not required (usually 5-10 hours a week). 

Increased pay after 90 days if the review has determined you exhibit great work ethic, and your skills, knowledge and drive are strong

Responsibilities

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Handy man repairs around the facilityMake ready rooms/painting trim and wallsQuarterly maintenance inspection and quarterly preventative maintenance tasks,Cleaning condenser coilsChanging out switches and plugsChanging filtersRemove an reinstall new toilets and seatsRemove and install kitchen and vanity faucetsClear a toilet or sink drain that is clogged. Ability to use a sewer machineDiagnose and repair ac unit problemsGeneral understanding of dishwashers/ washer machine and dryers. Being able to diagnose and replace a heating element, belt for dryer etc.Changing of light bulbsGrounds cleaning of debris to make us look well kept, not landscaping just picking up of trash debris that may have blown onto the property.Must have general toolsAssembling furnitureOther duties as assigned by management Qualifications Ability to work without direct supervisionPresentable appearanceReliable transportation (must be able to travel within a 30 mile radius of base)Ability to follow written and oral instructionMust be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduateMust be able to perform small repairs of good qualityMust be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. or moreAny HVAC, electrical or plumbing experience is beneficial but not required
