POSITION PURPOSE:
This position will ensure the upkeep and repair of buildings, machinery, and equipment. This position plays a crucial role in preserving the functionality, safety, and appearance of buildings and equipment within the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure all equipment, machinery, and systems operate efficiently and safely.
Repairs: Minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs. Painting,
Cleaning and Upkeep: Keep work areas clean and organized, including removing debris, garbage, and hazardous materials.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Snow removal/salting during inclement weather.
Communication: Collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and address issues promptly.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and mitigate potential hazards.
Record Keeping: Process all formal and informal documents as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive organizational vehicle
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen
• High School diploma or Equivalency
• 1 year of maintenance experience
• Act 33/34/73 Clearances

Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday – flexibility with evening/weekend hours is needed to meet program needs.
