Harmony Gardens is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team in our brand-new building in Maplewood, MN. In this role, you will help maintain our beautiful facility and make a difference in our residents' lives. Our ideal candidate is friendly, positive, and has an outgoing personality. 

Our campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-art senior living community includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care options.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working 64 hours per 2 week pay period. No weekends!

Pay Range: $19.04 - $22.89 / hour depending on experience

Maintenance Worker responsibilities:

Provides carpet and floor care in residents rooms and common areas.Disposes of trash from common areas and resident rooms.Additional duties may include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.Follow scheduled maintenance program.Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.Follow-through on projects with little supervision.Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.Perform other duties as requested.

Maintenance Worker skills/ requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Prior custodial and maintenance experience.Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
