Self-motivated person, the ideal candidate has relevant professional cleaning experience, and is efficient in mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cubicle areas, common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, washing/cleaning windows, office cleaning, vacuum carpeted areas, general floor cleaning, trash removal, disinfecting, dusting, mirrors, furniture as necessary, countertops, glass, conducting inventory on supplies and chemicals, restock supplies and other additional duties as assigned. We are looking for hardworking individuals to implement a high standard of cleanliness for our office/Facility. Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets or meetings. You will work independently, so being able to work without supervision, and stay on-task is key. Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the workstation ready for work at the start of the shift.Job Responsibilities & Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Clean the plant, office, and all other assigned areas to meet standards required for operations.Assist production as assigned and directed.Follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved, replaced or re-ordered.Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or forklift.Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and deep clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & ABILITIES:
High school diploma or GED is requiredValid driver’s license is requiredPrior cleaning experienceThe shift for this position will be Monday through Thursday from 6am-4:30pmFollows instructions and is eager to learn.Possesses a positive attitude and strong work ethic.Must be able to walk, stand and climb stairs for the duration of the 8-hour or more a shift.Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull, push and lift up to 25 lbs frequently1-2 years’ experience in janitorial cleaningEffectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.MiTek is a platform innovator and enabler that exists to transform the building industry with better building solutions.
