Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Major Gifts Officer in Santa Clara, California. As a Major Gifts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, with responsibilities ranging from designing donor cultivation strategies to managing campaign progress in our software system. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a strategic direction for major gifts in collaboration with leadership • Organize, update, and maintain a tracking system for major donors • Draft and manage communications, proposals, donor profiles, and briefing memos for prospective campaign donors • Coach and guide staff and volunteers for solicitation activities • Facilitate donor acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship methods • Assist in strategizing and implementing campaign cultivation and recognition events • Monitor campaign progress and donor moves management in the organization's software system • Cultivate, solicit and steward leadership gift donors by developing and executing long term plans • Maintain and update campaign fundraising timetable and benchmarks • Use analytics and CRM tools to create relevant campaign reports Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required. • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies is necessary. • Must have experience with Content Management System (CMS). • CRM skills are crucial for managing relationships with major donors. • Familiarity with Facebook Insights for advertising and fundraising campaigns. • Experience in Advertisements is a must for promoting the organization and its cause. • Strong Analytics skills for assessing the effectiveness of fundraising techniques. • Auditing skills are necessary for ensuring compliance and accuracy in donation processes. • Knowledge of Brand Awareness strategies to enhance the organization's visibility. • Experience in Campaign Planning is vital for successful fundraising initiatives.
