Major Upgrades Contractor Manager
Job Description SummaryThe NAM Major Upgrades Contractor Manager will be responsible for the overall safety, quality, and performance of our contracted partners.   They will promote a positive health and safety culture.  Implementation and management of standard work, job efficiency for all major repairs.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition you will:

Coordinate and lead weekly operations reviews and updates on contractor performance on key KPI’s and variance reviews of jobs performed in the field.Drive safety and accountability to the GE Life Savings principals, including root cause analysis, corrective action development, and implementation of corrective actions across our contracted teams. Develop and iterate standard work packages for onsite job kick-off, field execution expectations, and other operational aspects to standardize best practices, communications, and driving consistent field operations.Develop corrective action to reduce outliers and use lean tools to improve processes to mitigate and drive consistency to standard work and productivity with field execution.Work with cross functional teams, sourcing, engineering, parts, Logistics, field services, crane team, and services product line to develop tools and procedures to drive continuous improvements. Create and lead lean initiatives to improve operational performance of our contracted teams.Support P&E budget development, management, and monthly reconciliation.Develop performance improvement plans to improve safety performance, quality, and efficiency of our contracted resources to achieve consistent operations.Develop scorecards to measure contractor performance for safety, quality and execution.Provide guidance to all field teams on proper procedures and technical support during field execution. 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or engineering from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 5 years of finance or operations experience in field services.Minimum of 3 years of experience with contractual services, risk, accounting, or cost estimating roleAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

The salary range for this position is 104,200.00 - 173,600.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health, Medical, 401K, Paid Leave.
