Job Title: Make Ready Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Make Ready Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform field audits of existing telecommunications and electrical distribution activities, ensuring high-quality data collection and accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities + Perform field audits of existing telecommunications and electrical distribution activities. + Visually identify, inspect, and record equipment and structures in the right-of-way. + Take detailed field photos that tie directly to engineering/planning software. + Correlate route map and field photos directly to time stamps and field locations. + Record attributes and current conditions of overhead and ground-level utility structures. + Maintain consistent quality data while achieving production standards. + Use measuring equipment and SLR cameras to establish a photo record. + Execute and plan daily goals while meeting quality, time, and budget constraints. Essential Skills + 2+ years of Experience with Katapult, CREWS, and AutoCAD. + Survey and utility location skills. + Distribution design and drafting experience. + Knowledge of NESC standards for cable attachments, spacing and midspans regulations, and utility pole owner regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or equivalent is required. + Prior Make-Ready design experience is a plus. + Experience with MicroStation and BOUD is beneficial. Work Environment This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will use advanced technologies such as measuring equipment and SLR cameras to conduct field audits and record data. The role involves planning and executing daily goals while adhering to quality, time, and budget constraints. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
