Mamm Mobile Unit Driver & Scheduler; 40 Hrs: Days

Shift: 2 days per week 7am- 5pm variable

Summary:
Safely operates and maintains the Mammography mobile unit. Performs patient reception and registration functions, including radiology information system responsibilities. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High School Graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, with Air Brake Endorsement or obtains within 30 days of hire, and within two exam attempts. * Meets State of Ohio requirements to qualify for a CDL and maintains CDS in good standing. Demonstrated knowledge in patient registration, scheduling, and/or insurance processing. Familiar with data entry sufficient to input and retrieve data. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Excellent communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with patients of varying ages. Must demonstrate good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and have ability to problem solve. *MetroHealth will cover the cost of CDL training and exam(s). Preferred: Six months to one year of patient scheduling and/or registration experience. Experience in mammography scheduling. Six months to one year of commercial driving experience. AHA BLS Certification. Bilingual. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity to operating mobile health vehicle. Ability to hear normal voice sounds. See in the normal visual range with or without correction Position involves exposure to extreme seasonal temperatures and road conditions, fumes, and/or loud noises. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Apply
