**Mammo Tech - Part Time -** **Houghton Hospital**
**Summary:**
Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention.
**Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements**
**Education:**
Required: Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, with specialized training in mammography.
**Experience:**
Preferred: 1 year mammography experienced
**Skills:**
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
**Licenses/Certifications:**
Required: Certification with the ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with advanced training in Mammography; Licenses (CRT & CMT) from the State of AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE). Student Mammography license is acceptable in lieu of CMT; CMT must be obtained within 6 months of hire date into the position.American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
