The role includes operating CAD systems and mammography equipment, performing procedures across various settings, and ensuring accurate documentation and patient history updates. The incumbent demonstrates a strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and isotope use, while adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols. Responsibilities also encompass equipment maintenance, file management, and order entry, along with effective collaboration with physicians, the imaging team, and other departments. The role promotes professional development through ongoing education and actively contributes to process improvement initiatives. Additionally, the individual delivers excellent customer service, manages inventory, and efficiently handles inquiries to support seamless departmental operations. **Qualifications** + **Experience:** + Minimum of three (3) years of mammography experience. + **Education:** + Graduate of an approved Radiological Technology Program. + **Licensure/Certifications:** + **State:** + Arizona DHS Bureau of Special Licensing: + Certified Radiologic Technologist (MRAD:AZ). + Certified Mammography Technologist (MAMMRAD:AZ). + **National:** + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). + American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. Recognized certifications include RTR, RTBD, RTCT, RTCV, RTM, RTMR, RTN, RTQM, RTT, RTVI, or RTVS.
