The technologist will perform mammography and bone density procedures (not requiring constant supervision) as outlined in department policy and procedures manual. Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R). Preferred Mammography certification by ARRT (M) or meets registry eligibility. Certification compliance must be completed within one year. Licensure by the Indiana State Board of Health must be obtained and kept current. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients/family service. Maintain CPR certification. Continuing education credits must be obtained as required by the ARRT. Mammographers are required to obtain specific mammography education credits as described by the FDA/MQSA.
