Responsibilities Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams and produce quality images. Perform Quality Control (QC) functions related to Mammography and Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) Perform a variety of tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of Mammographic, Radiographic, and other related equipment Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality Assist in the maintenance and compilation of statistical data Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and position patients accurately to ensure safety and comfort during the scan Assist Radiologists and other healthcare practitioners with invasive procedures Qualifications Job Requirements: Technical/Associate degree in radiography Registration through ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in radiography Registration through ARRT in mammography required within one year of employment Preferred Job Requirements: Registration through ARRT in bone density 1 year of mammography experience
