This individual is responsible for operating mammography equipment to obtain images according to physician and ACR specifications.
Position Purpose
Positions patients and adjusts mammography equipment to correct setting for each examination. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations and consultations.What you will do

Assists in sterile procedures, and the like. Education: Associate's degree program in Radiologic TechnologyLicensure: Massachusetts Radiology license.Certification: A.R.R.T. registration in Mammography within a year of hire.Experience: Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree program in Radiologic Technology and 40 contact hours of mammography training and 25 mammography examinations under a qualified instructor plus three months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.Ministry/Facility Information
