Community Health Network has announced plans for a new healthcare campus in Westfield slated to open in the Spring of 2025, marking a significant expansion for the network while enhancing Community’s ability to provide access to exceptional care in central Indiana. The campus will be home to a full range of care options, from advanced critical care for adults and newborns to integrative outpatient services focused on wellness and prevention. **Make a Difference**
The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic & screening mammograms, and biopsy procedures. Mammographers are also responsible for performing bone density exams per department needs.
The tentative onboarding timeline is late-February/early-March with a tentative department opening in mid-April. The facility will open with screening only. A diagnostic room and a dedicated ultrasound for our Breast Ultrasound exam needs will be added.
**Exceptional Skills**
+ Receive, document, and relay all orders related to the patient’s medical record.
+ Evaluate images for quality and proper identification and decide if additional images are needed.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in using department equipment, positioning devices, and patient care and monitoring items.
+ Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
+ Ability to use patient care skills to provide an exceptional experience.
+ DXA experience preferred.
**Qualifications**
+ Associate degree in Radiology or Completion of certification program in Radiography (required)
+ Breast ultrasound experience preferred
+ Bone density experience preferred
**Required Certifications/Licensures**
+ Radiologic Technologist License for the State of Indiana and ARRT® Registry
+ Certified Mammographer (M)(ARRT) credential (required)
