The Managed Care Growth Leader is the primary client lead managing the totality of the Willis Towers Watson (WTW) relationship for clients within the Managed Care Industry. This individual is accountable for profitable Managed Care revenue growth and focused on bringing new solutions to existing clients, acquiring new Managed Care clients, and ensuring deep client satisfaction.

The Role
Establish and manage a team of Managed Care P&C experts including sales and service professionals, focused on the Managed Care industry Initiate and coordinate the development of products, services, analytics, and other resources to support our Managed Care clients and attract new business Grow Managed Care book by identifying and supporting producers pursuing Managed Care, managing RFP activity, establishing relationships within the industry, providing thought leadership, participating in speaking engagements, etc Become a trusted advisor and portal to WTW for assigned Managed Care clients and prospects, addressing their unique business needs with solutions that leverage capabilities from across the company and incorporate industry expertise Coordinate and collaborate with specialists, consultants, industry experts, and other critical team members across WTW segments and geographies to bring the full capabilities of WTW to Managed Care clients and ensure a streamlined client experience Influential at multiple levels of the client organization across all relevant buyer hubs, promoting new and recurring business while managing existing revenue and profit streams Lead the development and execution of client account plans and strategies to ensure profitable revenue growth and create new business opportunities Maintain leadership level market relationships to support broking teams, develop new products for the industry, and identify opportunities for alternative growth areas such as programs, affinity business, captives, etc Participate in relevant Managed Care industry communities in order to deliver industry-specific expertise to our clients Develop a broad understanding of WTW capabilities and expertise across our two business segments, Health, Wealth and Career and Risk and Broking Ensure client satisfaction with Managed Care clients through proactively monitoring and addressing any issues Partner with segment and business leads to negotiate pricing/fees, and ensure client relationships are secure and financially sound Actively develop and mentor Managed Care talent on client teams, providing direction, feedback and coaching Act as a role model throughout WTW by embodying our values of client focus, teamwork, integrity, respect and excellence
The Requirements
10 or more years of experience and proven track record selling insurance & risk services to Managed Care organizations in the areas of people, risk and capitalAbility to build, maintain and manage multiple relationships at the most senior levels within client organizationsAbility to influence key stakeholders (internal and external) via formal and informal channelsTrack record of sales expertiseHigh level of business acumen Demonstrated intellectual curiosity to learn and sell across the entirety of WTWStrong people & negotiating skills, along with strong conflict resolution capabilitiesAbility to coordinate teams across WTW businessesTeam-oriented and collaborativeAbility to diagnose complex client issues, comprehend the full breadth of Willis Towers Watson’s services, blend them into practical solutions that meet our clients’ needs, and articulate them to C-Suite buyers across multiple disciplinesSenior level experience aligned in corporate insurance risk and broking is a plusLegal background/knowledge regarding Managed Care industry and healthcare regulatory analysis a plusAbility to successfully direct multiple projects and ensure quality deliverables on time and within budgetAn executive presence with polished and well developed oral and written communication skillsAvailability to travel on an as needed basisUndergraduate degree preferredThis position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation ranger being offered for this role is $300,000 USD - $400,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short term incentive bonus.
