The Role
We are looking for a consultant who is passionate about achieving the business vision and wants to participate in the transformation of the global life sciences industry. As a consultant of the Veeva products, you will join our Professional Services team providing post-product application consulting. You will focus on absorbing and providing expertise to Veeva products.What You'll DoHelp to keep up to date and implement new features within the Veeva product suiteWork closely with customer business and IT staff to understand their requirementsThink critically to help design the solution your customers request as well as the solution they have not requested but they might needAct as customer liaison, managing communication between implementation and maintenance teams, customer stakeholders, and internal Veeva Product teamsGuide customers in adopting Veeva products and industry best practices as part of post-implementation programs focused on the holistic success of the customerDrive change management methodology at our customers switching from on-premises to SaaS solutionsRequirements3+ years of working experience in system operations and maintenance through direct communication with clientsNative level of Japanese language skills in oral and writingReading and writing English documents using a translatorAbility to understand and find out customer requirements accurately and meet them or propose alternative planNice to HaveExperience configuring/supporting/implementing any of the following types of products:CRM: Salesforce etcContent Management: SharePoint, Zinc MAPS, Documentum or other similarJavaHave around 4 years of relevant experience in either the life sciences industry or technology vendors in the life sciences industryPresentation skillsFluent in EnglishVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
