The Role
Do you love consulting but are tired of the travel? Looking for an opportunity to do something new, exciting, and with a clear value proposition for your customer? Veeva Systems is looking for a Managed Services Consultant who has a passion for helping customers achieve their business vision. Veeva Vault, our cloud-based content management and collaboration solution, is used by our customers to manage content-centric processes across key departments within a life sciences company, including clinical trials, quality management, manufacturing, regulatory, sales, and marketing. The Managed Services Consultant is a member of our Professional Services team who provides remote, ongoing, ad-hoc consulting services to our live R&D Vault customers. In this role, you can build long-term relationships and partner with customer administrators at life sciences companies to deliver solutions that meet their business needs.
What You’ll DoHelp to keep up to date and implement new features within the Veeva Vault suiteSolutioning and configuration of Vault applications to meet customer needs, including but not limited to workflows, document types, security, fields, page layouts, notificationsWork closely with customer business and IT staff to understand their requirementsGuide customers in adopting Vault and industry best practicesAct as customer liaison, managing communication between implementation and maintenance teams, customer stakeholders, and internal Veeva Product teamsRequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English5+ years of experience with configuring, supporting, and implementing software solutionsExperience in working in customer-facing roles and managing customer expectationsAbility to quickly understand client requirements and needs and articulate potential solutionsProven ability to work remotely and independently in support of multiple clientsAt least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experienceNice to HaveProject Management experienceUnderstanding of life science content management principles, types, and taxonomiesUnderstanding of life science compliance requirementsVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
