Job Description

As a key member of the finance team, the Management Accountant will drive financial processes and business performance, working closely with the finance director. Key responsibilities include:

Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly statements, statutory accounts, and management informationManage costing information, work in progress, and inventory records to drive performanceOversee ledger activities and assist with internal and external financial queriesConduct detailed analysis of company activities, including R&D and warranty costsDeliver comprehensive project cost and sales margin reportsContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting processesLiaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Degree in finance or equivalentQualified chartered accounting degree (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or working towards

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantageStrong accounting knowledge and analytical skillsAdvanced MS Excel proficiency; Excel VBA and Power BI understanding is a plusFamiliarity with ERP/MRP solutionsExcellent communication and networking skillsPragmatic, action-oriented approach with strong organisational abilitiesTeam player who thrives in a non-hierarchical, dynamic environment
