Your Role
You will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and reporting of the monthly internal management performance results for Chubb's Australian and New Zealand business.
Your Responsibilities
Preparation, distribution and analysis of the monthly Profit and Loss Statement, detailed premium production, commission and expense analysis for each Product and Business Segment. Analyse and distribute Financial Performance Metrics for the relevant Products lines and identify key financial performance drivers with appropriate commentary supporting the analysis. Provide assistance with the coordination and preparation of the regular production and commission forecasts and annual business plan. Maintain monthly Acquisition Cost accounting, including all month end and relevant spend related activities and analysis in ensuring financial records are complete and accurate with supporting commentary for the management reporting pack. Maintain overall “expenses” general ledger and cost centre in the PeopleSoft Financial System that includes maintenance of expenses allocation mapping table supporting line of business/products specifically for the New Zealand business unit. Analyse monthly expense results to ensure ledger records are complete and accurate and provide expense analysis commentary reports to management. Maintain TM1 and Cognos records and provide support in respect of production and forecast and develop TM1 management reports to meet the needs of business and management as and when required.What skills can you bring?
Degree qualified in Accounting and/or Financial Management with full CPA/CA membership status.3 – 5 years of post-qualification commercial experience.Deadline driven, attention to detail, highly analytical with ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- able to deal with both internal and external clients at all levels in the business.
