Bowhead seeks a Senior Management Analyst to join our team supporting the program office for NSWC Corona – Corona Division in Norco, California. The Senior Management Analyst will work directly for the Program Manager analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and assist in leading a team of systems administrators, application developers, service desk support, cyber engineers, and video technicians within a scaled agile environment.
Corona Division is the Navy’s premier independent assessment agent responsible for gauging the warfighting capability of Navy ships and aircraft by assessing weapons and integrated combat systems’ performance, readiness, quality, and supportability. The Senior Management Analyst will support the Program Manager managing technical infrastructure supporting Corona Division operations in the areas of command leadership support, IT operations, customer operations and cyber security.
Responsibilities• Support the Program Manager in the execution of program requirements.
• Provide general management level support to existing and new IT projects across the division
• Provide IT management advisory support to the Program Manager and division leadership in support and execution of Corona Division IT requirements
• Work with section leads to optimize local IT/network operations and support services, as well as telecommunications support services
• Support Corona Division leadership to standardize and optimize the design and architecture of the IS and infrastructure
• Support cloud-hosted software and cloud-hosted systems infrastructure in all standard cloud service models
• Support service desk operations
• Ensure cyber security compliance actions comply with all DoD governance directives
• Provide supervision of project planning, scheduling, and implementation
• Work at the direction of the Program Manager in the completion of projects within estimated time frames and budget constraints
• Demonstrate exceptional writing and oral communication skills and ensure premier quality products and services are delivered
• Maintain, organize update all program documentation as required
• Develop, deliver and maintain a yearly project management plan
• Provide formal status reports to Navy and Bowhead leadership as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Master's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or business or related technical field of study and two (2) years of experience managing IT projects, reporting status of projects and the development of data analytics
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or business or related technical field of study and four (4) years of experience managing IT projects, reporting status of projects and the development of data analytics, OR
• High school degree, or a GED, and more than seven (7) years of experience managing IT projects, reporting status of projects and the development of data analytics
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university
• Proven ability to work on high visible or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders
• Strong team player, interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to lead a team and work with company leadership
• Relevant technical or management certifications a plus
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the minimum Secret level.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
