Management Analyst

Management Analyst, 13-1111 \n

Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants.\n

NAVAIR Specific Requirements: Possesses demonstrated knowledge and experience applying analytic methodologies and principles to address client needs. Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives and contributes to the implementation of strategic direction. Performs analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives. Conducts activities in support of project team's objectives. \n

Education: BS or BA degree. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA\/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA\/BS.\n

Experience: At least four (4) years of experience as an analyst in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands.
