Visit www.atf.gov Responsibilities This position is located under the Office of Management Property and Logistics Division in Washington, District of Columbia. As a Management Analyst with ATF/OM, Property and Logistics Division (PLD), you will be providing operational and logistical functions related to real property management; building operations; materiel and personal property management; fleet management; mail management; environmental safety and health programs, payable inter-agency agreements; purchase card holders; and acquisitions. In this position, you will perform the following duties: Responsible for a wide range of budgetary and financial functions associated with the formulation, justification, execution, management, and review of administrative and program budgets in PLO. Developing guidance on techniques for evaluating program initiatives, and performance measures, analyzing and advising on proposed reorganizations or realignment of functions and developing manuals and directives covering PLD programs. Preparing various reports, exhibits, analyses, and other material in connection with the budget estimates or in response to specific requests. Providing advice to PLD management on changes in budget policy and their implications. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in the resume. Specialized experience includes: Planning, developing, and justifying the budget, including the preparation of extensive briefing documents in support of the budget, staffing estimates, space requirements, and logistical operations to include moves, renovations, and new facilities. Analyzing annual program budget submissions to assure consistency with established policies, and recommends changes to or concurs with positions taken by program units. Assureing preparation of various reports, exhibits, analyses, and other material in connection with the budget estimates or in response to specific requests.
