Summary About the Position: This is a permanent position located at The Research and Analysis Center (TRAC) - Fort Greg Adams, VA. The Research and Analysis Center (TRAC) provides relevant, objective, and credible operations analysis to inform decisions and support our only shareholder: the American soldier. This analysis underpins key decisions regarding major Army initiatives and programs, collectively valued at hundreds of billions of dollars. Responsibilities Monitors and controls various manpower and personnel resource management functions. Attends meetings and conferences to gain information and ensure that The Research and Analysis Center- Fort Leavenworth (TRAC-FLVN) administrative programs comply with other operating program requirements. Coordinates the agency civilian and military evaluation programs. Assists the Intern Program Administrators in the administration of the intern, current students, and recent graduate program. Performs research and analysis to prepare statistical data, narrative reports, and replies to correspondence related to assigned duties. Reviews and reconciles internal Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and manning documents. Conducts administrative training for all employees concerning civilian Time and Attendance program. Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Utilize management and administrative practices common to the organization travel requirements. 2) Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to resolve issues. 3) Evaluate information and recommend appropriate action. 4) Use computers and computer applications to analyze and communicate information in the appropriate format. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
