Summary About the Position: Serve as expert analyst to management on programs associated with long range fiscal/program planning in support of an Army Command and major subordinate commands. Act as a C4/IT Resource Manager in all ACOM financial forums. Serve as the internal FORSCOM G-6 budget coordinator. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience in 1) Assisting with the development of year acquisition of federal funds; providing recommendations on the needed organizational goals; 2) Develop quantitative measures to evaluate the status of out year programming; 3) Analyze the changes of the programs being managed; 4) Evaluate the program information requirements as it relates to policies, priorities, costs, funding, and support service requirements; 5) Written communication to develop supporting resources documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Managing Human Resources Quality Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Position may be filled as Term Appointment Not-to-Exceed 2 Years , if the candidate is not a current, permanent Army Employee. A term appointment is a non-permanent appointment expected to last longer than one year, and cannot be made permanent without further competition. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
