MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Corporate Operations Department (Code 1100), Resource Management Division (Code 1100A), Military Manpower (Code 1121) at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Responsibilities You will serve as the Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) Program Manager responsible for the management and assignment of Sailors in a non-deployable status. You will provide policy and manning support and oversight and management of LIMDU personnel to mitigate the friction in the distribution process for LIMDU personnel, while finding them meaningful and valuable work. You will ensure that LIMDU/DES personnel attend all of their necessary medical and administrative appointments, providing personnel advice to senior leadership on LIMDU/DES management, and interacting with organizations addressing LIMDU/DES issues. You will proactively monitor Service members for the command across the healing and treatment continuum or in other administrative processes where medical is involved. You will provide policy and manning support and oversight and management of LIMDU/DES personnel to mitigate the friction in the distribution process LIMDU/DES within a specified geographic location. You will plan and conduct comprehensive in-depth analysis, to include the development of Force wide metrics to review and provide assessments of the command LIMDU/DES distribution. You will ensure all subordinate commands designate in writing a Deployment Coordinator (DC) to track and monitor personnel assigned in a non-deployable status. You will develop and recommend changes to Navy LIMDU/DES policy and guidance as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience negotiating and coordinating projects and working groups with Echelon I and II, TYCOM, and subordinate commands ensuring that Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System LIMDU/DES and Transient Sailors are assigned in-rate and rank, and the ability/inability of the LIMDU/DES/Transient Sailor's ability to conduct such work. Experience providing technical guidance, identify deficiencies, and develop/recommend corrective actions to mitigate the deficiencies identified during the analysis. Experience conducting research and special study projects to resolve problems, change procedures or evaluate concepts. Experience preforming force management functions and methods to defend manning requirements, allocations of positions and documentation to support changes and authorization. Experience providing manning data, analysis, advice, technical support, and response to official taskers.
