Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the Public Works Department Business Line of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. Responsibilities You will receive customer service requests for maintenance and repair of physical facilities by telephone call and by e-mail. You will be responsible for evaluating the request and determining if it should be categorized as planned or unplanned, routine, urgent or emergency work. You will be responsible for reviewing email requests from the RCC Inbox and assigning them to Call Center Agents on duty, ensuring the workload is balanced throughout their shift. You will provide first level assistance to lower graded employees when they have questions regarding SOPs, calls, emails, etc. and is available to provide training to lower graded employees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving and processing customer service requests for maintenance and repair of physical facilities by telephone and e-mail; 2) Assigning emailed service requests to Regional Call Center (RCC) personnel ensuring a balanced workload among the on-duty staff accurately and in timely manner; 3) Using automated data base systems and tracking systems (such as MAXIMO) with thorough knowledge to accurately induct and review work orders; 4) Validating work request data entered into data base systems are in compliance with the organizations (NAVFAC) directives and standardized procedures; 5) Evaluating Service Requests and determining proper work classification such as routine, urgent, emergency, project, or recurring. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving and processing customer service requests for maintenance and repair of physical facilities by telephone and e-mail with minimal assistance; 2) With assistance, assigning e-mailed service requests to Regional Call Center (RCC) personnel ensuring a balanced workload among the on-duty staff; 3) Using automated database systems and tracking systems (such as MAXIMO) with intermediate knowledge to accurately induct and review work orders; 4) Validating work request data entered into database systems are in compliance with the organizations (NAVFAC) directives and standardized procedures.
