MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). Responsibilities You will analyze, evaluate, and advise management of the effectiveness of operations in meeting established goals and objectives. You will analyze management information requirements to develop programs or administrative reporting systems. You will coordinate management meetings and support preparatory meetings with other departments as the primary non-nuclear Engineering Division functional area coordinator. You will review submitted reports for effective use of causal analysis for significant problems, causes, and actions ensuring alignment to recommend changes where required and ensure final report meets requirements. You will plan, develop, initiate, and conduct cause-analysis meetings, internal review studies, management surveys, self-assessments, research projects, and provide advisory services on issues of significant scope and impact to the organization. You will analyze and evaluate quantitative effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives. You will prepare programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, and statistical and narrative date, project papers and present findings, options, and recommendations via briefings and presentations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and conducting management surveys by collecting and analyzing data, and recommending changes in the organizational structure to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of operations.
