Summary You will serve as a Management Specialist (Human Capital Management Analyst (HCMA)) at the KENNEDY MARITIME ANALYSIS CENTER at the National Maritime Intelligence Center, Suitland, MD Responsibilities You will provide Human Capital advisory services to the senior leadership, supervisors, management officials, and commanders. You will respond to difficult issues involving complex projects/problems that require authoritative advice or policy interpretations. You will be responsible for planning and conducting special projects or studies to identify and resolve personnel/staffing issues and problems or improvements to the Commands Human Capital program. You will lead or serve as team member on special projects or comprehensive studies to identify and examine problems or operating issues that may impact a major organization or an entire field activity. You will serve as a liaison between the Human Resources Office, managers and supervisors on a variety of difficult and complex technical issues or problems of a sensitive nature, that concern all phases of hiring, merit promotion, and procedures Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
