We are seeking a highly accomplished Supply Chain and Sourcing Resource with over 8 years of expertise to lead and optimize end-to-end operations in Strategic Sourcing ,order fulfillment, Spend Management, Contract Management supplier management, Supplier Negotiations for cost and cash .This role requires a strategic leader with a proven ability to manage high-value spend, foster supplier partnerships, and implement transformative solutions that enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Sourcing: Lead procurement activities for a supplier base of 100 vendors, managing an annual spend exceeding $150M with a focus on cost optimization and quality assurance
• Order Fulfillment Leadership: Oversee daily operations, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
• Contract Management: Monitor and manage the adoption and compliance with existing and new supplier Agreements, Eliminate spend leakage Ensure effective communication, training and implementation of existing and new supplier Agreements
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales, order management, and supply chain teams to address customer needs, resolve outages, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Supplier and Demand Management: Develop strategies to manage short-cycle demand, maintaining on-time delivery rates above 95% and aligning procurement activities with business priorities.
• Process Transformation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean methodologies, Kaizen events, and problem-solving reviews to achieve operational excellence.
• Digital Innovation: Implement digital and process transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, improve KPIs, and support scalability.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and minimize deadstock, ensuring effective inventory control across multiple categories.
• SOP Development: Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations to meet organizational goals.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Performance Reporting: Track and present key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership for decision-making and strategy alignment. Deliverables : Cost out - hard savings, year on year deflation. Detailed roadmap and ownership during execution to deliver on the plan. Project Charters- shall submit and maintain Project Charters for large scale, high impact projects. This shall be used to manage execution and provide visibility Project Charters including progress updates shall be reviewed on a weekly unless otherwise agreed Stake holder management and Reporting
• Strategic Sourcing Action Plan – Bi-weekly
• Cost Out reports, projected and actual - Weekly
• Supplier OTD – Bi weekly
• Transactional RFQ report – Bi-weekly
Qualifications
• BE Mechanical with 8 years of experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing to optimize end-to-end operations
• Demonstrated success in managing high-value procurement portfolios and supplier relationships.
• Expertise in lean methodologies, process improvement tools, and digital transformation.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams in dynamic environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation capabilities.
• Preferably Green Belt and APICS certified.
