Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Manager, A/P Invoice Match to join our team! Reporting to the Director of Accounts Payable, this position is responsible for the management of one staff accountant and six non-exempt associates. Primary responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely processing of merchandise invoices, close coordination and partnership with Vendor Relations, managing special strategic programs and initiatives, and reporting. You will also need to manage an effective, accurate, and timely closing process in accordance with GAAP.

Responsibilities Manage the processing, matching, and payment for all merchandise invoicesPartner closely with Vendor Relations Manager to resolve vendor statement reconciliationsProvide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to teamResponsible for accounting and reporting of Foreign Merchandise in TransitResponsible for Quarterly Cost Purchase Reconciliation of A/P to InventoryManage the Inventory Drop Ship reconciliation process and work to identify/resolve any issuesManage and oversee prepaid accounts payable activities related to merchandise processingResponsible for the processing and reconciliation of license agreement invoices/payments plus associated royalty paymentsApproval of monthly /quarterly journal entriesManage the EDI process with Merchandise VendorsResponsible for ensuring all departmental accounting deadlines are met, including balance sheet account reconciliations, account balance analytical reviews, and both internal and external auditsResponsible for maintaining existing departmental controls as well as ensuring all necessary controls existImplement new controls where opportunities are identifiedEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and all internal controlsSupport any internal controls compliance, testing, and reportingManage and develop departmental staff accountant/analyst and non-exempt staffAnalyze accounts payable data, generate reports, and provide insights to support financial decision-making Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of three years of proven experience in A/P management or a similar roleIn depth knowledge of A/P processes, best practices, and relevant accounting standardsExperience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Oracle Fusion preferredExperience managing associatesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Access)Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectivesExperience working on cross functional teams, multi-tasking and managing time independently with little directionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, including senior executivesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent organizationAbility to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $80000 - $95000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
