Manager, Accounting (GBSC)
Overview:

If so, we have an exciting, Manager-level opportunity to co-manage the global Consolidation and Intercompany processes.
Role:
-Consolidations
• Lead various global accounting processes including consolidations, investment and treasury, entity structure changes, capital injections and dividends, mergers and acquisitions, restatements, etc.
• Lead the team to consolidate complete entity portfolio on monthly, ensuring accurate and timely closes of global ledgers and financials in Oracle.
• Responsible for review of footnotes for the quarterly/annual 10-Q / 10-K filings
-Intercompany
• Responsible for management/oversight of intercompany processes, including intercompany settlement, global reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
• Responsible for management of transfer pricing and service fee accounting
• Leads cross- functional team (Tax, Treasury, Controllership) to help influence and determine settlement method and hold teams accountable.
-Both Consolidations and Intercompany
• Maintain service level agreements (SLA’s), performance targets, and measure performance
• Partner with regional teams and financial systems for implementation of local requirements and reporting needs
• Seek automation and efficiency improvements in all processes and measure progress
• Provide guidance and support to the regions and business units
• Perform and/or review account reconciliations
• Assess team capacity and manage resources to maximize time available and allocate resources as needed to accomplish priorities
• Develop direct reports and build positive team morale
• Support SOX control compliance
• Other duties as required
All About You:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA, preferred
• MBA, preferred
• Experience leading consolidations process at large, publicly traded US company
• Experience with external reporting at large, publicly traded US company
• Excellent technical knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts
• Experience in intercompany processing and accounting preferred
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities
• Mastery and comfort navigating financial systems and subledgers
• Progressive accounting experience
• Previous management of teams and demonstrated leadership skills
• Previous work in a large global environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and business acumen
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
