Reporting to the Sr Manager, Accounts Receivable & Collections, the Manager, Accounts Receivable (AR) will work within the Order to Cash (OTC) team to initially assist in implementing new areas within the Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) Magenta Services group to develop continuous operational improvements, procedure documentation, and reports to achieve industry best practices.

This position will lead and be responsible for:
• Providing oversight and support to the AR Operations teams.
• Management and oversight of all aspects of AR which includes invoicing, posting of all cash receipts, billing escalations, and adjustments including write-off's, credit memos and adjusting G/L entries. Operations also include the set up and maintenance of all SAP/ERP master records for indirect dealers; EDI records are also maintained by this team.
• Oversight of AR related projects and AR strategy as well as managing the relationship with third-party partners, such as Infosys and supplier performance.
• Establishing the objectives and metric expectations for a local team of analysts as well as oversight of a shared services support team.
• Ensuring that all processes and postings are aligned with internal policies and conform with all SOX requirements and remediation.

Responsibilities may also include:
• Leading all aspects of credit risk work performed by the Sr Analyst/Analyst including budget management, controls, the credit and collection lifecycle, and supervising vendor relationships.

The Manager is viewed as a thought leader, challenging the status quo and inspiring change by influencing internal and external leaders through the sharing of insights and the building of strategic partnerships.

This position is expected to optimally communicate with senior leadership and participate at a senior leadership level within the department as sphere of influence can extend up to the Director and VP levels across several organizations within T-Mobile.

Job Responsibilities:

Management of offshore vendor (training, coaching, support, audit, scorecard) to ensure satisfactory performance of AR function.Operational improvement, identify and prioritize opportunities for process optimization. Develop key collaborative relationships with internal partners and account team to promote effective dispute performance and ongoing relationships.Owns SAP master data maintenance and act as the data steward for dealer records across multiple channels. Anticipate the impact of the changing business environment and interact with functional leadership to support strategic initiatives and implement processes as vital.Internal and external partnership to drive operational excellence across Financial Operations and T-Mobile. Assists in business evaluations to identify future opportunities for improvement and barriers to achieving strategic and financial objectives.Key leader responsible to track and own the deductions for National accounts and ensure financial transparency and compliance to T-Mobile policies, effects innovative strategies to build a metric driven organization as well as creation of regular monthly account level reporting including KPI and SLA analysis. Drive financial awareness of non -financial employees through financial measurements and interrelationships and control procedures. Identify the best business practices and leads the propagation of these practices across organization. Reserve and settlement authority.Provide direction and oversight to a team of analysts. Influence executives across organizations regarding strategy or and to achieve business objectivesCommunication and presentation to Directors and VPsAlso responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, or Bus Admin

Work Experience:

7-10 years Related experience in accounts receivable management or similar operational role2-4 years Experience of managing people
