Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Partner with cross-functional teams to accurately track and analyze existing and new product initiatives. Leverage clickstream data to identify opportunities for improving associate experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform funnel analysis to provide strategic data insights. Define and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and monitor product health using Tableau, Splunk, and Kibana. Utilize SQL to extract and process large amounts of store operations data from BigQuery and Hive. Build ETL data pipelines and conduct analysis to provide strategic data-based insights. Design and execute Pre / Post Analysis to identify and quantify the impact of new product features to constantly improve product features. Conduct advanced data analysis using Excel functions and pivot tables. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field.
Skills required: Experience extracting and manipulating data from large datasets and relation database using SQL (including complex queries, windows function, common table expressions, and user defined function). Experience implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data pipelines using ETL tools including Fivetran, Informatica and DBT for data enablement, report generation and automation. Experience building actionable data visualizations and dashboards using business intelligence software including Tableau and Mode Analytics. Experience defining, analyzing, and translating KPI's into clear insights and compelling narratives using SQL, Excel, and Mode Analytics. Experience interpreting data trends and patterns and conducting quantitative analysis using SQL, Excel, and Mode Analytics. Experience using statistics (mean and standard deviation) to answer business and product questions. Experience conducting exploratory data analysis using SQL and Excel. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $112,655/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
