Manager, Advisory (Multiple Positions), New York, NY

Support the pursuit, origination, and execution of advisory engagements for financial services clients focused on business, operations, and technology improvement. Identify and develop working knowledge of new domain areas relating to client priorities, such as new technologies and emerging regulatory mandates. Supervise project teams and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality advisory work products. Monitor project budgets and ensure profitability. Guide and mentor assigned counselees and junior team members on engagement teams, and provide ongoing written and verbal feedback. Support the development and implementation of strategic go-to-market initiatives. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.


WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Data analysis, requirements definition, and systems implementations; Advising on the IT development lifecycle in relation to financial services clients, while leveraging project management methodologies including waterfall and agile; Consulting on process, operations, and technology across the trade lifecycle and across asset classes and products; Working with Core Capital Markets vendors and vendor technologies, industry utilities, and central securities depositories; Advising U.S. Securities Industry clients in relations to regulations, business, operations, and technology; Executing Advisory engagements related to Financial markets regulations in the US and globally; and Executing transformation programs for Tier 1 Investment Banks and Broker-dealers.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 80%.

Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.

SALARY RANGE: $155,542 - $238,700 per year
