**Job Summary** Plans, develops, and executes a comprehensive asset protection program for the field. Designs program methodologies that drive partnerships with internal stakeholders and delivers profit improvements through shrink elimination. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities** + Develops and executes an asset protection program in the field. + Plans, develops, and executes short- and long-term strategies to protect company assets, including physical security critical infrastructure, operational excellence, and loss elimination. + Coordinates and maintains partnerships with all company departments to positively impact asset protection metrics. + Develops high quality training to support loss elimination. + Evaluates operational processes for areas of opportunity and shrink elimination and develops plans to mitigate losses. + Establishes standards and performance expectations for asset protection goals. + Identifies theft and fraud activity within the field and partners with management to resolve cases. + Manages a team of asset protection professionals, including performance managing, coaching, and providing opportunities for growth and development. **Nature and Scope** + Solutions require analysis and investigation. + Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. + Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff. **Work Environment** + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. **Education and Experience** + Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification.
