The incumbent is responsible to support the development of B2C Channel; Strategies, Material Reporting and analytics. As Manager, B2C Sales Planning, you will be responsible for continuously supporting the strategic requirements of the B2C channel to assist in the resolution of issues, securement of opportunities through the management of channel information and analytics to produce the necessary reports and presentations to accommodate the business requirements for decision making. This position will collaboratively work with Product Management, Supply Chain Management organizations and B2C sales team to execute the necessary plans. Continuous and frequent liaison with SECA leadership and corresponding teams being responsible for supporting the build of formal presentations and reports.
The individual must love the planning process and have a strong sense of challenge and satisfaction in supporting the B2C teams in shaping the story through words and numbers of the business to achieve desired results with internal and external executives. Candidate must be able to proactively think ahead, and operate in advance of the immediate operating window of the sales and marketing teams. They need to sense the marketplace and use research, industry and contacts, to develop and facilitate a course of action.
Role and Responsibilities
Planning
Collaborate directly with account teams to support the NC/ME sales process, support account requirements to drive to target, be an enabler to achieving sales results through planning process. Support the internal business case process to optimize programs necessary to drive results.Know, Summarize & Communicate Account results, program summarizes, forecasts to ensure the business understands status, gaps, and requirements to achieve targets.Be the bridge between Account teams & PM and Operations Organization to support an efficient sales process.Build M/S targets by account based on historical performance, business environment and competitive intelligence for both Sell-In and Sell-out in units and revenue.Actively work with industry experts (IDC, SA) directly or through internal organization.Interacts with market, industry, partner and internal contacts to create a qualitative and quantitative view of the market segment.Creates and publishes the annual, quarterly and monthly plans that support mobile business. Works cross functionally to create plans that are ahead of the current operating cycle, which then become the operating plan for this segment.Analyses industry trends, competitor activity, and channel performance within the mobile industry.Support Mobile strategy development through market analysis, risk assessment, and facilitation of ideation discussions for longer term direction.Operational
Defines results reporting process and manages the weekly/monthly/quarterly requirements based on Samsung defined KPI’s.Communicates on a weekly basis with Business Managers and Account teams to share results and seek related support for SECA Mobile requests.Subject matter expert on key operational KPIs and adherence to company guidelines and policies, as required.Assists Sales teams on product and operational elements affecting business partners or customers to optimize the sales process.Program Ownership
May manage/evaluate SD or MDF based programs to assess ROI.Support compliance requirements in accordance with SECA policy for this channel (i.e. contractual, PUMI, MOA,… as required).Assist in capturing information from the customer and internal systems to support and administer program forecast validation, marketing programs, product programs.Skills and Qualifications
Education:
University degree in Business preferred.Knowledge:
Proficiency in the use of computer data-mining and spreadsheet programs.Demonstrated organizing, business planning, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated ability to create business planning documents: presentations, pro forma models, trends analysis, description of key strategies, quantitative and qualitative analysis and objective setting.Consumer Electronics and or Mobile industry knowledge preferred.Bilingual English/Korean preferred.Experience:
5-7 years of experience in Business Operations, Planning Product Management or Channel Sales preferred.Samsung is an equal employment opportunity employer.
