The Manager, BioSurgery US Regional Plan, responsible to consistently meet customer expectations and manage regional IBP/SOP. This individual is the primary Supply Chain liaison for their platform responsibilities with the regional commercial platform leadership to ensure achievement of aligned business goals and objectives. This individual will proactively lead all planning activities within the US regional platform areas of responsibility to execute final mile of supply with a strong customer first approach while balancing service, inventory, and cost.

Other responsibilities include business planning, leading the US inventory strategy and planning activities, and driving US service management and product allocations, all aiming to deliver on key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, customer service, inventory, and cost improvements.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead the U.S. Integrated Business Plan (IBP) processes and resources to accurately deliver regional demand through obtaining meaningful market intelligence in achieving sustainable growth and to exceed business expectations.

· Ensure close collaboration with the Finance and the Commercial partners to reconcile and synchronize demand with sales expectations and ensure optimal customer service to end customer and affiliates, while managing inventory to target levels.

· Provide leadership and guidance on the demand, supply and distribution planning processes that drive cost-effective stock-inventory availability while maximizing customer service through a robust IBP process.

· Develop and ensure that appropriate planning processes and systems are in place to complete the planning operations and are aligned with corporate policies at all times.

· Partner cross-functionally to develop solutions to business challenges with varying levels of scope and complexity, towards achieving business platform targeted results.

· Lead US regional EME demand planners, interns/co-ops and contractors as required. Indirect reports can include, but not limited to functional partners and other associates such as supply planners.

· Build effective relationships and partnerships with key suppliers as well as internal /external customer groups to drive priorities alignment and focused execution.

· Ensure understanding and drive communication of the business consequences arising from trade-offs concerning the planning activities, applying scenario planning, and issue resolution for decision making where required.

· Organize and present information that ensures timely forecasting communications and common goals and objectives across functional areas.

· Provide clear leadership vision to teams to attain process efficiencies by continually improving forecast accuracy while increasing customer service levels.

· Achieve On Time in Full (OTIF) targets and drive continuous improvements in this area.

· Achieve mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and Bias targets while driving continuous improvements in this area.

· Responsible for achieving inventory targets and driving optimization.

· Support new product introductions

· Ensure that demand planning, IBP, and business planning processes align with overall global processes and objectives. Drive continuous improvements in this area.

· Responsible for leading and supporting supply chain customer solution initiatives that enable business plan attainment in current and future years

Required Skills

· A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Supply Chain or Bachelor’s in Sciences with Major in Engineering is required. MBA is preferred.

· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive supply chain experience with a minimum of three (3) years in the medical device, consumer or pharmaceutical areas is required.

· Hands on working experience with one or more of the following: inventory/planning/demand management/SOP management/order management/ MRP computer systems/financial processes is required.

· Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies. Understanding of the business needs of multiple functional areas and outstanding intuition for business is required.

· Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, reasoning skills and the ability to master complexity is required.

· Influencing skills and ability to communicate and gain alignment with key stakeholders. Ability for quick decision-making, to work under time constraints and the capacity to make good judgment on special situations. Accuracy and prioritization in a fast-paced environment are required.

· Experience with planning processes, inventory management and financial knowledge is required.

· Customer service oriented. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Diversity ambassador and change agent. Seeks feedback to continuously align with both internal and external customers, followed by promptly driving with positive actions.

· Interpersonal skills and teambuilding experience is required.

· Superior planning and organization skills. The ability to master prioritization process by seeking sponsors and partner’s feedback is required.

· Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, macros etc.), PowerPoint, Project Planning, Flow Charts, and management of database tools is required.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Process Excellence, IBF and/or APICS/ASCM certification, preferred.

· Experience with SAP/JDE, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, preferred.

OTHER:

· This position is in Cincinnati, OH and may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.

· The anticipated base pay for this position is $120,000.00 to $182,070.00
