What’s the team like?

The Business Operations & Strategy (BizOps) Group drives transformation across WK’s Global Business Services (GBS) and other central functions. The team provides thought leadership to identify, assess, implement, and manage a robust pipeline of operational improvements. Collaborating with technology, finance, and strategic sourcing groups, BizOps & Strategy prioritizes opportunities, evaluates options, engages vendors, and executes strategic initiatives.

From opportunity identification and business case development to project management and communication, the team plays an active role in every stage of transformation. Their work involves analyzing data, interviewing experts, exploring cost and service level improvements, operationalizing opportunities, designing strategic plans, launching pilots, and driving measurable outcomes tied to tangible KPIs. There’s no “typical” day—team activities span brainstorming, strategic planning, and implementation, all with a focus on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across functions.

What’s the role?

The BizOps team is seeking is seeking a Manager to support and drive strategy initiatives and change management efforts for impactful business transformations. This role will involve collaborating with senior team leads and supporting leadership in defining strategic projects while working with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and key results.

Key responsibilities include:

Operations & Execution: Lead strategic projects addressing high-priority business challenges, delivering actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and analyses to align cross-functional leaders.Strategy Development: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform product or functional direction, synthesizing insights for executive decision-making.Data Analysis: Rapidly gather and analyze large datasets to support strategic, data-driven decision-making and business insights.Problem Solving: Tackle complex, ambiguous business challenges with structured approaches and deliver compelling recommendations.Performance Management: Develop, monitor, and track key business performance metrics.Project Management: Independently manage program workstreams from discovery to execution, ensuring timelines and success criteria are met.Prioritization: Effectively balance competing demands to deliver high-quality results within prescribed timelines.Stakeholder Management: Create executive-level presentations to provide high-level reporting and status updates across initiatives

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally with a background in consulting or corporate strategy. An advanced degree, such as a Master's or MBA, is preferred.Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to break down complex challenges into actionable insights.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.Flexibility: Growth mindset with the ability to adapt to unstructured environments and work across diverse topics and functions.Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage projects and programs through cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines.Independence: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Technical Proficiency: Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with additional analytical tools is a plus.Travel: Less than 20%, only for essential project needs.

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $121,350 - $170,050
