Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager - Cross-Border Services to oversee and expand our cross-border remittance services in the assigned region. This role involves managing operations, driving strategic growth, and ensuring seamless execution of cross-border payments. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of remittance markets, financial operations, and customer-centric solutions.
The candidate will be part of the “Mastercard” sales team and will demonstrate the initiative and ownership as an individual contributor, raise the bar and challenge the boundaries to corner new payment flows using Mastercard Move product.
Role
•\tStrategic Management:
o\tDevelop and execute strategies to grow cross-border remittance services.
o\tIdentify and onboard new partners to enhance the service network.
o\tCollaborate with internal teams to optimize product offerings and market penetration.
o\tShape and align the product strategy with market objectives to achieve volume and scale goals.
o\tCoordinate end-to-end implementation of services for new customers, including due diligence, contracts, commercial negotiations, financial setup, and service rollout.
•\tOperations Oversight:
o\tEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements for cross-border transactions.
o\tOversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
o\tMonitor settlement processes, transaction flows, and operational KPIs.
•\tStakeholder Engagement:
o\tBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, agents, and customers.
o\tAct as the primary point of contact for partners in the assigned region.
o\tEnsure client satisfaction by aligning product offerings with market expectations and customer needs.
•\tTeam Leadership:
o\tLead and mentor a team to achieve business objectives.
o\tFoster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
•\tMarket Research and Analysis:
o\tConduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
o\tProvide insights and recommendations for product development and business strategies.
•\tFinancial Management:
o\tMonitor revenue streams, profitability, and cost-efficiency of cross-border services.
o\tPrepare and manage budgets for cross-border operations.
Qualifications
•\tBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
•\tYears of experience in financial services, remittances, or cross-border payments.
•\tA keen understanding of bilateral / correspondent banking for B2B and P2P payments
•\tStrong knowledge of remittance markets, compliance regulations, and financial operations.
•\tProven track record of managing teams and achieving business growth.
•\tExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
•\tAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
•\tProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; familiarity with digital payment systems is a plus.
•\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
