Responsibilities:
Take ownership and act as overall lead or bid manager of the end-to-end business development cycle for clients in Penang / Kedah Identify project leads, through business networks with industrial players, consultant and contractors, etc. Leading the complete project development cycle from client’s engagement, solution development, commercial viability and proposal strategy, negotiation until contract signing. Develop winning strategy, guiding and directing internal support functions (technical, finance, legal) Customize financial modelling and tariff structure according to client’s preference Prepare business proposal for management approval and lead all client engagement until contract award Initiate, co-organize and attend marketing events (such as conferences and seminars) Ensure project monitoring tool is complete and up to date Weekly reporting to local management; and weekly activity updates to regional BD communityRequirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent 8 years in the field of renewable energy, industrial facility management, power projects or other infrastructure related project development Experience in design or development or management of energy projects such as biogas/biomass system, thermal / cooling system, for industrial plants. Experience in rooftop solar system is an added advantage. Proactive and independent Strong management and leadership skills Excellent communication skills, resilient, and team spirit Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to elicit business requirements from clients Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy Strong time management skills and able to complete tasks on schedule
