What you'll do...
Walmart Business is driven by a meaningful purpose: to save time, money, and hassle for businesses, nonprofits, and governments, allowing them to focus on their vital missions. It's about helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses and support their families, enabling nonprofits to maximize donor funds for better service, and assisting governments in improving services for residents. Our team is looking for a Manager, Business Strategy and Research to translate early learnings and long-term vision into actionable strategies to support rapid growth in our business. We are looking for someone who will think big, be customer focused, ruthlessly prioritize the highest impact efforts, and mobilize cross-functional partners to develop and facilitate execution against our strategy and research goals. The individual in this capacity will be customer-centric, and maintain an outside-in, big picture orientation for the future. Importantly, they will help set the sequence of strategic moves.
**What you will do:**
+ Shape critical, high value strategic initiatives that can shape the direction of our business to maximize impact
+ Work in quarterly sprints on prioritized strategic initiatives - leading cross-functional teams
+ Understand our customer deeply looking across NPS, VOC data and customer metrics along the buying journey
+ Partner closely with analytics to interpret customer behavior and identify high opportunity segments
+ Manage multiple cross-functional research projects that support our Walmart Business Team
+ Build out and manage internal research panel (to build from MVP to north star) while managing the intake process cross functionally for research
+ Run research end-to-end (design and draft instrument, project management, results analysis, sharing results with stakeholders)
+ Run quarterly brand health research, cadenced message testing, strategic research, and membership benefit testing
+ Competitive insights - distil macro, customer, competitor, and tech trends into actionable insights
+ Review information from multiple sources, and organizing research and analytical findings to present clear, actionable solutions to strategic business issues.
+ Craft key insights and messaging in reports/executive presentations, translating findings and preliminary recommendations into actionable plans in a clear, compelling manner for non-technical audiences and senior leadership.

+ Ability to thrive in a growing, unstructured environment
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics or related field
+ 5+ years of professional work experience in strategy, customer research, data analytics, consulting, or related field
+ BBA/ BS (Economics, Finance or statistics)
+ Certification in customer science and marketing analytics

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
