Manager, Canada Value and Risk Advisory National Operations (Chief of Staff)

As Manager of Canada Value and Risk Advisory Operation, you will directly report to the Head of Value and Risk Advisory Canada and you’ll play a key role in our business's successful growth. You will be an individual who provides a wide variety of support and leadership services to the team. The successful candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player looking to make meaningful change in a growing, inclusive, collaborative environment. 

Responsibilities    •    

Work closely with the national leader on various strategic initiatives and tasks related to the growth of Value and Risk Advisory in Canada. 
•    Execute and lead operations projects, as discussed with both the Head of Value and Risk Advisory in Canada as well as other JLL leaders. 
•    Maintain constant communication with the national group to ensure proper operation standards are in-place. Help manage, motivate and support the group as a whole. 
•    Support existing hires in terms of technology needs, process improvements, etc. to enhance productivity.
•    Support efforts to produce local, regional, and national employee and client events.
•    Collaborate with other company departments (IT, HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure best operational practices are being applied.  
•    Help implement a national onboarding program, and assist new hires with their transition to JLL.
•    Assist in the monitoring of financial data and production KPIs to manage budgets and forecasts.  
•    Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.   


To Apply you need to have
    •    At least 3-4 years of work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role 
•    Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to: MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Adobe Professional, X, or Standard 
•    Degree in business, operations management or a related field
•    Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills 
•    Excellent time management and organizational skills 
•    Able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment. 
•    Operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders. 
•    Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills 
•    Ability to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others. 
•    Must be proactive and take initiative. 
•    Must be able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
