Position Summary The Category Manager role will take a strategic approach to managing key product categories within the EHI portfolio. You will lead category development, assortment strategies, pricing, promotional activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and profitability. This role is pivotal in developing insights based on consumer data, market trends, and competitive analysis to shape the future direction of the business. Ideal candidate will be passionate about consumer behavior, data analytics, and achieving measurable results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Category Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute category growth strategies, including assortment planning, pricing optimization, and promotional planning to meet company objectives. Market & Consumer Insights: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform category strategy. Lead regular consumer and market research efforts to understand product performance and adjust plans accordingly. Sales & Profitability: Work closely with sales teams to drive category performance by increasing revenue, improving margins, and ensuring optimal product placement and availability. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to align on category priorities, promotional plans, and product lifecycle management. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor the performance of assigned categories through key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying growth opportunities, and recommending actions for underperforming areas. What we are looking for Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience: 3+ years of experience in category management, sales, marketing, or a similar role within the CPG industry. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and generate actionable insights to drive business decisions. Project Management: Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results on time Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present strategies to internal teams and external partners. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and category management software (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, JDA). Experience with data visualization & Power BI tools is a plus. Total Rewards Package The salary range for this position is - USD $154,000.00/Yr. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
