Role Summary

The Change Manager will report to the Head of, Transformation and Change Management and will be responsible for designing and executing a thoughtful change management strategy for assigned project(s). As a member of the Transformation Office team, the Change Manager will support complex projects for the company’s highest priority programs that support our 10fortheWin strategy. The Change Manager must demonstrate initiative, be an advocate for change and work across all cross-functional team members in order to successfully complete a project.

This manager will be dedicated to top company initiatives (restructurings, tech rollouts, process changes, etc) responsible for the change management activities on various projects that drive our growth ambitions.  This work includes: creating change strategy plans, building program governance structures, articulating visions and expected project outcomes, identifying and analyzing stakeholders, assessing impact, developing communication strategies, completing training needs assessments, and executing preparation activities and feedback loops.  This manager will use and contribute to the Circle K change management methodology and work to ensure that any disruption to normal business operations at Circle K due to these programs is kept to a minimum.

The manager will serve as a trusted advisor to VPs and SVPs according to their assignment, promoting leadership principles and effective communication approaches.  This work includes managing strategy leadership communications, identifying stakeholder management action plans, supporting action plans for employee satisfaction results, and more. 

And finally, this team member will contribute to our internal Transformation Office, acting as a change agent to implement and manage best practices and methodology across our organization.  This includes providing mentorship to individuals seeking ad-hoc change guidance, building and sharing great tools and templates for other practitioners on the team, and hosting occasional learning sessions as requested.

Primary Responsibilities and activities: 

Working with and communicating across the various management teams and ensuring effective information sharingThis candidate will be responsible for partnering with project managers, assessing the impact of change to stakeholders, scheduling change activities, and managing the communication on behalf of the projectOversight of organizational Change Management activities, including:Change analysisChange management plan, strategy and solution developmentChange impact management/risk analysisUnderstand the current state and identify impacts to people, processes and technology as result of the changeDevelop strategies and plans designed to drive end-user adoption for technology driven projectsMeasure adoption, usage and proficiency of initiativesManage revisions, updates and the effects/impact of change downstreamCreate a communication strategy that creates the framework for communication within the organization, as well as create a detailed communication plan to execute this strategyKnowledge and Skills:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing leadership and customer expectationsGreat executive presenceEffective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment in which this role may not directly control resourcesSignificant knowledge of project communication planning with a solid track record of practical application

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience designing and executing change management plans

Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

Experience working with senior leaders on major change initiatives with significant visibility

Experience defining and executing adoption measurement strategy

Ability to influence and think strategically and tactically

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Change Management certification is preferred
