Guy Carpenter's Client Support Service (CSS) teams proficiently navigate the complexities of reinsurance coverage reporting, accounting and settlement in every specialty and every market in the world. Over 700 professionals prepare everything, from slip preparation to technical processing of premiums and claims, and collection and settlement of fiduciary balances.
We are looking for a CSS Team Manager in our Minneapolis, MN office.
What to expect:
Global service teams who are assigned to specific client (customer) accounts to handle contracts, claims and accounting.Responsiblity for culitvating best in class customer service for direct reports and collaborating with leadership team to drive efficiency and accuracy.
We’ll count on you to:
Manage a team of business professionals.Identify and prioritize workload across the team according to volume and urgency and facilitates the distribution of workload when balancing needs arise.Ensure that team completes assignments within company standards and company SLAs.Supervise assigned client portfolios assigned to team which include activities such as transactional processing; following up and securing reinsurance recoveries; securing collateral requirements; and ensuring system entry is completed accurately and efficiently.Analyze customer specific issues and develop customized solutions to resolve as needed.Identify areas of opportunity in process improvement, system enhancement, and task management in order to provide better efficiencies.Continuously develop direct reports to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to execute their roles efficiently.Work with direct reports to identify career goals and support them to help them achieve these goals.Train new employees in reinsurance basics and Guy Carpenters's systems and processes
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in (re)insurance and/or risk managementProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsSuccessful management of workload; able to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders.
