Manager, Clinical Operations & Systems
Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations & Systems who will serve as a functional manager for Clinical Trial Assistants (CTAs) and assist with electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) and high-level CTA tasks as needed. This role requires someone with a strong inclination towards mentoring and leading by example. Experience with Trial Interactive is essential. The main responsibility is managing CTAs, overseeing a team ranging from CTA 1, CTA 2, to Senior CTA.

ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor a team of 4-5 CTAs, including CTA 1, CTA 2, and Senior CTA.Assist with eTMF and high-level CTA tasks, particularly for the DM1 program and a phase 3 global study.Lead the group by example, providing functional management and support.Identify and address any red flags on CVs such as employment gaps, job hopping, and short tenures.Travel to San Diego three times a year for collaboration weeks.Essential Skills5-6 years of clinical research experience.A few years of managerial experience with direct reports.Experience with CTA management.Proficiency in Trial Interactive.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory with strong experience.Experience in rare diseases is a plus.Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, requiring travel to San Diego three times a year for collaboration weeks. There is no specific time zone preference, but availability for occasional business meetings in Pacific Standard Time (PST) is necessary. Outside of these meetings, you may work in your own time zone.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $147000.00 - $163000.00
