We’re looking for an amazing Commercial Software Delivery Manager to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices. You’ll be responsible for daily decision-making and overseeing team management within the scope of this role. You’ll act as a crucial link between business teams, product owners and managers, and IT technical teams. You’ll employ a blend of business acumen and technical expertise to ensure clarity on project financials, delivery expectations, and scope alignment in the context of delivering complex commercial software, data, and AI applications and platforms. This role entails ownership of multiple functional areas, conducting business analysis, and leveraging deep knowledge of software and data center of excellence practices implemented by you leadership team.

**Responsibilities**
+ Overseeing team management and leadership involves guiding business analysts and scrum masters in commercial software, product, data, and AI application development. Setting up clear expectations, offering constructive feedback, and nurturing professional growth. Monitoring team performance, resolving conflicts, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration are crucial for aligning project priorities with organizational goals. Promoting continuous improvement to drive successful projects execution and ensures the team contributes effectively to achieving business objectives in the realm of commercial technology solutions.
+ Effective stakeholder engagement and communication ensuring project success and alignment across business leadership, product owners, and IT technical teams. Maintaining regular and clear communication channels to facilitate understanding and consensus on project goals, priorities, and expectations. Actively engaging with stakeholders, gathers comprehensive requirements, provides timely updates on project progress, and addresses any emerging challenges or scope changes promptly. Proactive approach to keep business informed with decision-making and advocate for necessary resources and support needed for seamless project execution. Maintaining transparent communication to foster collaboration and ensures that all stakeholders are committed to achieving project milestones and delivering impactful results in the realm of commercial software, data, and AI applications.
+ Roadmap execution with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to craft and refine detailed roadmaps for commercial software, data, and AI applications that align closely with business objectives. Maintain a clear focus on customer needs, ensuring that the product roadmap addresses current challenges. Regularly reviewing and adjusting roadmaps based on feedback to steer product initiatives towards successful delivery, driving meaningful impact and value for the organization and its stakeholders.
+ Meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Meticulous monitoring, proactive risk mitigation, and adherence to robust project management methodologies. Concurrently, manage resources effectively, this includes optimizing resource use to align with business goals and controlling expenditures while ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
+ Process Improvement and Efficiency with focus on identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance efficiency across commercial software development, data engineering, and AI application deployment. This involves analysing current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing operational improvements to optimize workflow and resource utilization. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, aim to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and accelerate project delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation in our technological solutions.
+ Improve Security and Compliance footprint, collaborate closely with corporate security to uphold software and application security protocols and standards. Fostering a proactive approach to security, mitigate risks, protect sensitive information, and uphold regulatory requirements, thereby maintaining trust and integrity in our technological solutions.
**Requirements**
+ Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
+ 10+ years in managing Commercial D2C and B2B product and delivery teams, business analytics, software development teams.
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, software delivery or related fields
+ 5+ years in product management and project management roles
+ Experience leading and delivering complex commercial projects, including budget management and resource allocation
+ Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Business Analysis, Scrum, Lean, DevOps) and modern technologies used in software delivery.
+ Proven track record in product development, helping to design and deliver large-scale websites, mobile applications, marketing technology, and/or enterprise data and software solutions.
+ Strong proficiency in process improvement, project management, and product lifecycle management
+ Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex commercial projects.
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple competing priorities effectively
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
**Please note that this position is HYBRID based in our Seattle or Miami offices. Successful candidate must be within commute distance and able to go into the office 3 days per week.**

+ Base Salary Range: $112,800.00 to $152,300.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
