Primary Responsibility :
The Manager, Communications – Americas will be responsible for creating and executing the internal and external communication strategy and roadmap for the Americas region in accordance with the business priorities, and in line with the global communications strategy. This individual will report into the Sr Director of Communications & PR and will work with various stakeholders including executives to develop compelling communications across multiple channels and provide media relations and public relations support. This role demands the capacity to handle multiple large projects simultaneously, coupled with a commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities. Moreover, this individual should exhibit a proactive approach in taking charge of issues and ensuring their resolution through to completion.

What Experience and Education You Need :
5+ years of experience in the design, development, and execution of internal communications programs, as well as design, development, and execution of organizational development initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in communication, organizational readiness, business management, or related program Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), must be flexible and adaptable to change Experience communicating with a non-desk workforce (warehouse or factory), required Experience in strategic/change management communications, preferred

Physical Requirements :
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions. Also must be able to repeatedly get up and down from chairs, and reach or bend for several hours per day.
• Must possess manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work.
• Must be able to talk, hear, and see sufficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• May be required to carry loads related to travel and occasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
• Must be able to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions sufficient to partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes.
• May be required to travel by automobile and/or airplane for business-related purposes.
